Trailer for Documentary on UN Housing Mission to US
In the Fall of 2009 the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Adequate Housing made the first official fact finding mission to the United States.
The Campaign to Restore National Housing Rights, Housing is a Human Right and the National Economic and Social Rights Initiative (NESRI) are proud to announce an upcoming documentary chronicling the trip.
The documentary was shot by volunteer videographers, audio recorders and photographers from around the US.
On Friday March 5, 2010 the Special Rapporteur reported her findings from the US mission to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland. Following her presentation, NESRI and the Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions, screened this trailer at UN Headquarters in Geneva.
